Bulbs
Southern Island Tan offers two distinctly different types of home tanning bulbs.
20 Minute Reflectorized Bulb
This bulb allows you to obtain full exposure from the lamp, with a reflector positioned at the back of the lamp bouncing light back onto the tanner. It also offers a lower UVB and high UVA for a more bronzing color.
15 Minute Bulb
This bulb is ideal for hard to tan skin, with a higher UVB then the 20 minute. It will activate the part of the skin that tans faster and allow you to spend more time outside of the tanning bed.
Starters
You might not be getting the full exposure from your tanning bulbs. Be sure to change the starters every time you change your bulbs. This will not only help gain more exposure from your bulbs but also extend their life and protect your investment. Please contact with information about your starters such as make, model and voltage.
